MINIJAPA Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set forth the conditions governing orders, purchases, and use of the online store operated by MINIJAPA (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

Before using our store, please review these Terms, our Refund & Return Policy, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy, and any other policies provided by MINIJAPA.

By using our store, you agree to these Terms and policies.

1. Order Requests

At MINIJAPA, customers first submit an order request rather than making an immediate payment.

After receiving your order request, we will review the order details and product availability and calculate the actual shipping cost based on the destination country or region and the contents of your order.

Once the review is complete, we will send you an invoice by email showing the final total, including shipping costs, along with a secure payment link.

Submitting an order request does not guarantee the purchase or reservation of any product.

Please review the final amount provided by MINIJAPA before completing payment.

2. Product Availability

Product availability is updated regularly. However, due to the timing of inventory synchronization, inventory updates, or other circumstances, an item may become unavailable after an order request has been submitted.

If an item becomes unavailable, we will contact you.

If your order contains multiple items, we will generally ask whether you would like to cancel only the unavailable item and proceed with the remaining items, or cancel the entire order.

However, depending on the circumstances, MINIJAPA may need to cancel all or part of an order.

If payment has already been made for an item that becomes unavailable, the applicable amount will be refunded.

Submitting an order request does not guarantee product availability.

3. Prices and Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product prices, descriptions, images, availability, and other information displayed on our store are accurate.

However, errors may occasionally occur due to system issues, delays in data synchronization or updates, human error, or other circumstances.

If we identify an obvious pricing error or another significant error in product information, MINIJAPA may correct or cancel an order, even after an order request has been submitted or payment has been completed.

If necessary, we will contact you regarding the issue.

If a paid order is canceled by MINIJAPA due to such an error, the applicable amount will be refunded.

4. Payment

You will be asked to pay the final amount shown on the invoice sent by MINIJAPA after we have reviewed your order, product availability, and shipping costs.

Please review the details and final amount on the invoice and complete payment using one of the available payment methods.

No payment is required before you receive the final invoice from MINIJAPA.

We will begin preparing your order for shipment after payment has been successfully confirmed.

5. Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be submitted within 24 hours after payment and before the order has been shipped.

Orders cannot be canceled after shipment.

Even if less than 24 hours have passed since payment, cancellation may no longer be possible if the shipment has already been processed.

6. Returns and Refunds

We generally do not accept returns or refunds due to a change of mind or other customer-related reasons.

If an item arrives damaged, an incorrect item is delivered, or a shipment is confirmed as lost, the matter will be handled in accordance with our Refund & Return Policy.

When reviewing a refund or compensation claim, we may request photographs of the item, packaging materials, outer shipping box, shipping label, or other relevant evidence.

When necessary, we may also request an unedited, continuous video of at least 30 seconds to verify the circumstances of the claim.

7. Product Condition

Please review the description, photographs, size, specifications, condition, and other relevant information provided on each product page before submitting an order request.

Marks, wear, packaging damage, or other conditions that were clearly disclosed in the product description or photographs before purchase are not considered defects and are not eligible for a return or refund on that basis.

Product colors and appearance may vary slightly from what you see on your screen due to photography conditions, lighting, display settings, or the device you use.

8. Shipping

All orders are shipped from Japan.

Shipping costs are calculated individually based on the destination country or region, the contents and quantity of the order, and other relevant factors.

All MINIJAPA orders are shipped using a shipping method that includes tracking.

Please refer to our Shipping Policy for details regarding shipping methods, delivery times, tracking, and other shipping conditions.

9. Customs Duties and Import Taxes

Unless otherwise stated, customs duties, import taxes, customs clearance fees, and other charges imposed by the destination country or region are the responsibility of the customer or recipient.

If a shipment is refused, left unclaimed, exceeds the carrier’s storage period, or is returned due to non-payment of customs duties, import taxes, customs clearance fees, or other charges, the matter will be handled in accordance with our Shipping Policy and Refund & Return Policy.

MINIJAPA cannot declare a value lower than the actual purchase price, alter the actual purchase price, or provide false information on customs documents for the purpose of reducing duties or taxes.

We also cannot declare products purchased through a normal commercial transaction as a “Gift” for customs purposes.

10. Shipping Delays and Lost Shipments

Delivery may be delayed due to customs clearance, weather conditions, natural disasters, flight operations, local postal or carrier conditions, peak shipping periods, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Depending on the shipping method, MINIJAPA may not be able to request a detailed investigation from the postal service or shipping carrier in Japan.

In such cases, we may ask you to contact your local postal service or shipping carrier directly and provide us with relevant information, including their response, inquiry or case number, email correspondence, or other documentation.

Refunds relating to shipments confirmed as lost will be handled in accordance with our Refund & Return Policy.

11. Prohibited Activities

When using MINIJAPA, you must not engage in unlawful activities, fraudulent payments, orders made using false information, activities that cause harm to MINIJAPA or third parties, interference with the operation of our store or services, or any other conduct that we reasonably determine to be inappropriate.

You must not submit false, altered, fabricated, or misleading information, photographs, videos, or other evidence for the purpose of fraudulently obtaining a refund or compensation.

If such activity is identified, MINIJAPA may cancel the order, refuse a refund or compensation, restrict future use of our store, or take other appropriate action.

12. Intellectual Property

Rights in original text, images, logos, designs, and other content created for and displayed on the MINIJAPA website belong to MINIJAPA or the applicable lawful rights holder.

You may not reproduce, republish, modify, distribute, or otherwise use such content beyond the extent permitted by applicable law without authorization from the relevant rights holder.

Trademarks, characters, works, and other intellectual property associated with the products sold through MINIJAPA remain the property of their respective rights holders.

13. Order and Service Restrictions

MINIJAPA may refuse or cancel all or part of an order if we reasonably determine that there is suspected fraudulent activity, a payment issue, difficulty shipping to the destination, legal or import/export restrictions, or another circumstance that makes the sale or shipment inappropriate or impracticable.

If MINIJAPA cancels a paid order for reasons attributable to us, we will generally refund the applicable amount.

14. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, MINIJAPA may not be responsible for delays, service interruptions, or other losses resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive any rights that customers may have under applicable mandatory consumer protection laws or other laws that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

15. Changes to These Terms

MINIJAPA may update or modify these Terms when necessary due to changes in applicable laws, our services, store operations, or other circumstances.

Updated Terms will apply from the time they are published on our website, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

16. Applicable Laws

The operation of MINIJAPA and these Terms are subject to applicable laws and regulations.

If mandatory consumer protection laws or other mandatory legal rights apply in the customer’s country or region of residence, nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict those rights.
